Meet the ABA Education Foundation Staff

Laura Fisher, Executive Director E-mail: lfisher@aba.com Laura is responsible for the foundation's strategic direction and day-to-day operation. She has been with ABA since 2003, serving as senior manager for public relations before joining the foundation in 2007. Prior to her time at ABA, Laura was communications director for the American Association for Homecare and a senior account manager with Edelman Public Relations. Under Laura's leadership, the foundation has initiated innovative programs, such as the Teach Children to Save Million Child Challenge and Lights, Camera, Save! video contest, that engage bankers and consumers.

Kathryn Kelly, Associate Director E-mail: kkelly@aba.com Kathryn works with the foundation's signature program, Teach Children to Save and Get Smart About Credit. She works closely with state banker associations to advance financial education. She also helps banks create comprehensive education programs using customized sets of programs and materials, lectures extensively on financial literacy issues, and conducts banker training sessions at the state level. Kathryn represents the banking industry on the national board of the Jump$tart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy.

Marquita Robertson, Communcations Manager E-mail: mrobertson@aba.com Marquita joined the foundation in 2007 to help bankers teach the importance of financial responsibility. As the foundation's communications manager, Marquita is the Spirit of Banking newsletter editor, handles the foundation's social media presence, marketing, website, and internal public relations, along with managing the Lights, Camera, Save! video contest.

TiJuanna Smith, Senior Program Assistant TiJuanna Smith is the foundation's customer service point-person and is also responsible for tracking program participation and managing the database. Before joining the foundation, TiJuanna worked with ABA's free Frontline Compliance program and in the member services department.
